We are currently recruiting graduate students and postdocs. We value curiosity, persistence, and kindness in our lab members and work to build a welcoming and positive environment to do science and learn from each other. The lab welcomes those with backgrounds ranging from genomics to stem cell and developmental biology, and wet lab to dry lab, provided a willingness to learn.

Postdoctoral scholar
Prospective postdoctoral scholars should email Seungsoo with a description of their research trajectory and how they envision their interests align with those of the lab, a CV, a PDF of a representative manuscript or publication, and contact info for three references (including PhD advisor).
Graduate student
Prospective graduate students should apply to the Cellular & Molecular Biosciences or Mathematical, Computational & Systems Biology PhD programs at UC Irvine. UC Irvine offers an on-campus housing guarantee to all PhD students.
Current or admitted graduate students in the CMB or MCSB PhD programs should email to arrange a time to discuss the potential for a rotation in the lab.
